The tablet computer market has been growing increasingly fierce for some time now, and the ante has certainly been upped with the introduction of the Samsung Tablet PC. The Tab is set to take on Apple's iPad, the massive tablet seller of this year. The iPad has sold 3.3m units since bursting onto the consumer market in April, encouraging development efforts by a range of rivals including Samsung, who have been the first fight back with a very worthy rival…

Samsung Tablet PC

Sadly for Apple, the Samsung Tablet PC has a lot of advantages over the iPad, including being both smaller and cheaper. Price is obviously a big issue, with consumers keen to choose the product with the best price tag and best features. Also unfortunately for Apple, the Samsung Tablet also wins hands down in terms of the range of features that it provides. It is certainly looking likely that it will come up trumps in the tablet computer battle.

Wealth of Features

The Samsung Tablet PC allows users to watch video, read and play games on the go, providing a comprehensive and varied entertainment device for people on the move. Its impressive 7" TFT-LCD display delivers exciting mobile experience for watching films, viewing pictures, and e-reading. There are a number of e-readers on the market presently, but the Samsung Tablet PC is said to be high above the rest in terms of its efficiency. With the latest Adobe Flash Player 10.1 incorporated into the Tab, it supports quick and efficient viewing of every page of the web. The Flash support which the Samsung Tablet PC has provides quality video and gaming capabilities. The tab provides access to a range of hubs including the Media Hub, the Music Hub and the Reader Hub, which allows users to access and download music, movies, TV programmes, books, newspapers and magazines.

Apple's iPad is undoubtedly the current tablet king, but it has been relatively unchallenged. The Samsung Tablet PC is soon to launch in the UK and will certainly be a contender against the mighty iPad…
