The layout, loading time and navigation elements should always be optimized for the comfort of the visitors in a website. It's in fact quite easy to generate your own website, provided you have the basic principles knowledge. In each web design, just think of one thing, the needs of its visitors.
For example, it’s pretty tempting to just show off your skills and make a navigational system that’s complex and professional looking; however, this is the wrong approach. In any web design, the navigational scheme should always be clean, simple and easy to understand. You want your visitors to stay on your website for a long time. When you create a complex maze of links, they might just give up and leave your website. A cleaner web design also looks more sophisticated, and this is the vibe you’d want to emanate if you really want your site to look professional.
We are talking about the space between the contents of text and graphics. Present your visitors enough visual. Do not think of it as a "white space" but it is a necessary and effective pause. Like poetry, effective web design is as much about what goes in and what they leave out. Be careful when making your website look too crowded. This could accurately narrowing your style. This is a must in any web design, and curiously, is the highest.
If there is a programming language that is popular enough to be considered "universal" at this moment, are CSS or style sheets. In website another thing is to simplify the programming language. Always consider the possibility of passing on the maintenance task to another person, and is easier to look for programmers who knows CSS than any other programming languages. Do not use any other programming language in web design, as this would cause maintenance problems.
This is why the CSS is the ideal programming language for use in web design. Then consider different screen resolutions. The cascading style sheets do not go mad when viewed from different screen resolutions. These are the nearly everyone everywhere used screen resolutions, as long as your site looks good in them, you should be fine. Just to be on the safe side, test your web design in 800 x 600 pixels and 1024 by 600 pixels.
Finally, optimise your website’s download time. This, again, means minimising graphic effects. The longer your site loads the more visitors you’ll be driving away. Talented web designers can make something beautiful out of the simplest, most basic design elements. That’s also what you should strive for. |
