And as the nozzle goes down it sends the liquid to another valve in the cylinder.

If a square inch piston applies a one pound weight to a hydraulic liquid, it will give a pressure of 1 pound per square inch. Moreover if there is a connection between both the large and the small container and a piston area of 10 square inches then it will have the force of 10 pounds to raise a weighted object with the huge piston.
Floor jacks for instance, are used in almost any industry and as their name suggests they are positioned on the floor – you can see them in the automobile industry, they can lift a building to replace foundation as well, using a pump arm to lift things. This type of jack needs a solid ground for maximum stability and it can lift tremendous amounts of weights between 2 and 20 tons.
