The Maserati Quattroporte S features several technological enhancements, including its weight distribution, engine, chassis, suspensions, brakes, lighting and stability program. The car has a unique weight distribution in its category to provide optimal stability and balance: 49% of the weight is on the front tires and 51% on the rear.
The chassis of the Maserati Quattroporte S guarantees the car an involving drive whilst improving its safety and comfort. The suspension features the Skyhook suspension system which controls the variable shock damping based on driving and road conditions. Adapting to the driver’s driving style and road surfaces, the skyhook system helps maintaining the maximum comfort on board.
The car dynamic handling is further enhanced by the Maserati Stability Program (MSP) which aims to improve safety by interacting with the ABS (anti-lock braking system), EBD (electronic brake-force distribution) and ASR (automatic slip reduction). Brembo developed the high performance braking system featured in the Maserati Quattroporte S, which benefits from the dual-cast technology. Led technology is used in the new redesigned Quattroporte S front and rear lighting. The front xenon cluster now boasts the Adaptive Light Control System which automatically tracks the movement of the steering wheel.
