MP3 players, game consoles, mobile devices such as the iPhone and WI-FI enabled laptop are some of the devices that are used by 56 percent of the adult American population to access the internet wirelessly. This is according to the Internet & American Life Project Survey that was carried out by the Pew Research Centre. Currently, laptops are the most popular way of accessing the internet among this group. 32 percent of adults in the above survey used smart phones such as the iPhone to read news online, send instant messages and send emails.
This has had a direct impact on the demand for iPhone cases and covers. The iPhone has greatly changed the principal use of the mobile handset. In 2007, the International Association for the Wireless Telecommunications Industry (CTIA) carried a survey in which only 58 percent of Americans were found to use their mobile handsets for non verbal uses. Currently, a whooping 69 percent use their mobile gadgets for playing music, instant messaging, video recording, getting directions from maps and surfing the internet.
The ever evolving number of mobile communication gadgets has brought about the unveiling of mobile device accessories which have greatly enhanced the overall user experience. For example, iPad owners now have cheap iPad accessories that provide them with an exciting user experience. These include:

All these communication gadgets need protective covers which are available with varying degrees of armor. There are those that protect against scratches and dust while others protect the device from cracks especially on the touch screen as well water infiltration.
