  • Always try to face the ladder while going up & down

  • Maintain balance & keep yourself centered between the rails or rungs.

  • Be sensible & use 3-point contact while going up or down on a ladder.

  • Don’t carry loads otherwise you may lose your balance.

  • Make an attempt to climb one person at a time.

  • Better to avoid stretching, leaning or any such moves that may result in imbalance.

  • Be cautious & alert while getting on or off.

  • Don’t stand on top step or top of stepladder.

  • Don’t stand on top 3 rails or rungs of extension or straight ladder.
