There is a great need of skilled foreign workers in Australia. This is due to the shortage that Australian companies are experiencing. And people never fail them. Each year, hundred thousands of skilled workers are answering to the call. They think that to work in Australia is an opportunity of a lifetime. So they grab it, and seize it.
But what is with Australia? Why foreign workers flock down south in search of their hopes? There are other countries, like those in the Middle East or Europe, who also offer a lot of job opportunities, some with higher wages, and others with benefits. And despite these, they still choose the Land of Oz. For those who are still asking, I'd like you to know that one's working visa for Australia is offering more than just a job with good pay, it also offer a quality life.
First thing that is admirable about the country is it's robust economy. The country is one of the world's richest, being part of the G20. If you find a job down under, you are assured that it is a stable one because the company you're working for has a lesser chance of going bankrupt. Plus, you won't get stuck with your entry level position, more probable than not, you'll get promoted, depending on your performance.
Another thing that amplifies the skilled immigration to Australia is the immigration policy. Once you had an established life in the country, you'll get the chance to petition your other relatives living in your home country. This way, you'll get reunited with your loved ones and can start an entirely new life.
The quality of life in Australia is metropolitan. Everything around you is modern and easy to deal with, especially on the cities. The accommodation and transportation is not that expensive. The government is also putting restrictions on a person's working hours, depending on the visa type. They don't allow 7 days a week of work. During free hours, you can hang out on sports events, shopping malls or other tourist destinations.
Australia is one of the world's most beautiful country. This is because of its iconic and world class tourist destination, the best examples are The Great Barrier Reef and the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. You won't just earn money, you will also have the chance to see the beauties that the whole world is captivated of.
Multiculturalism is another thing that Australia is well-know of. Those who work in Australia easily feel at ease because they knew they are not alone. Foreign workers in Australia will immediately find someone of the same race that they can make friends during their stay. At the very least, they won't feel out of place and will make easier for them to do their job.
Depending on the length of their stay, holder of working visa to Australia will be entitled of rights and services just like what original Australians get for themselves. These are public medical and health care, social security benefits. This will only be granted after the skilled worker received his right for permanent residency. |
